Shiatsu Diploma Course

The Elemental Balance Shiatsu Diploma Course will help you to:

Develop a sensitivity for Qi within yourself and others
Gain a foundational understanding of human anatomy
Learn the techniques that allow you to give treatments to family, friends and potential clients
Integrate the deep knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine in relation to the meridians and the techniques for their treatment
Explore innovative ways to move and interact with your own body and others, enhancing your overall physicality and connection

Diploma Course Dates 2025:
27th Feb - 2nd March
24th - 27th April
12th - 15th June
31st July - 3rd August
25th - 28th September
Exam Theory: 23rd November
Exam Practical: 29th / 30th November

Course Length:
Total hours in class will be 112 hours and approx. 40+ hours for case studies and individual home studies to prepare for the exam.

Certification Requirements:
80% class attendance Submission of 40 recorded treatments (at least 5 treatments per person) Successful completion of both theory and practical examinations

Course fee: R 32 000 ( payment plan is an option )

Location: Body Intelligence Studio Dassenheuwelweg, Noordhoek, Cape Town, South Africa

The course is suitable for beginners, but also practitioners from other modalities, who would like to further their skills and broaden their knowledge.
